I had just bought my usual stack of
new books, and I was happily browsing through one for a moment when
I came across the sentence, “Many
friendships
end through a simple lack of maintenance – falling out of communication.” (Dr.
Joshua Guilar – ‘The Power of Authenticity’). That was a gong
sounding off in my head.
So many things can be lost through a simple lack of maintenance. You might ask, “Maintenance –doesn’t
that mean keeping the status quo?” No. We are creative beings. Each moment
we live we have the opportunity to be creative in our relationships, in our physical
environment, in our financial environment, and in our spiritual practices. Maintenance
then means being creative in bringing all of that up to an optimum experience,
to an optimum vibration in sync with the truth of our being by our intention
and attention. “I, if I be lifted up will bring all others”.
When I “maintain communication – stay in focus – align my vibration – am
in tune with the infinite”, I allow that wonderful flow of creative energy
to step everything up a notch.
By paying attention and listening to my body, by becoming friends with my body,
I maintain a physical environment that honors and respects its part in allowing
joy to flow through my life. Being in syn with the natural rhythm of my body,
I more easily participate in balancing my body’s energies for optimal health,
joy, and vitality.
As I give my attention and intention to cultivating a deeper relationship
with Spirit, I become aware that God, Source, is always in communication
with me and as me. God is always speaking, and now I am listening more
attentively. I make the intention to be more creative to “hearing,
seeing, feeling” God in every aspect of my life. There is an old
saying, “to have a friend, be a friend.”
I align my creative power with the power that created the Universe
and see divine ideas, harmonious partnerships, enthusiasm and new life
flow into my financial environment. With my new attention and intention,
the abundance that is constantly flowing from Source, from God, moves
easily and freely through my life.
Happily giving my attention to the essence of Love that is within me,
all my relationships become part of a new dance of harmony and ease
in my life. Love shows up in wonderous ways.
Does this sound to good to be true? It isn’t. This is how we
are meant to live our lives. Happily creating, loving, being, experiencing,
sharing. Let’s not lose it through a “simple lack of maintenance”.
In the One Love We All Share,
