From the Minister's
Desk
At a meeting recently, our Board Chairperson, Ann Elliott, gave
a name to the
focus of our energies this year, “Growing from the inside out”. As
a spiritual community and as individuals seeking to find and express that “something” that
is our birthright as spiritual/energy/mind/body beings, it is important to remember
that we are “whole” right here and right now. We aren’t seeking
to add anything to ourselves, to fix anything in others, or mend our world. We
are looking for tools that will “uncover” that wholeness that already
exists and to share that awareness of wholeness with others, with the world.
There is an exciting time before us as we embark on an inner
journey together that will out picture wholeness in body, mind
and spirit. My personal goal this year is balance.
I know that I have within my body centers of energy that balance
this beautiful body temple in ways of grace and wholeness.
Each day as I learn to listen and respond to this inner balance,
I express that wholeness in new and wonderful ways.
I know that the thoughts of my mind resonate with God thoughts
and any self-negating or limiting thoughts are released easily
and gently as I uncover the Truth of my being.
I use the tools of prayer and meditation to open my mind and
heart to the Presence of Order and Balance and I find Peace.
This year is a year of “uncovering” what is already
there, honoring what is already visible, and honoring what
is not yet visible but is waiting in potential. Come pray
with us. Come study with us. Come sing with us. Come share
with us.
In the One Love We All Share,
Rev. Lisa
