“As I grow
in my awareness of God,
I
harvest a rich supply of blessings in my life”
(Discovering the Kingdom Within You – A Spiritual Preparation
for Easter)
I just love teaching classes on Unity Principles. They open
my mind and heart again and again to the energy, wisdom and
spark that is the activity of the Holy Spirit (Whole Spirit
of God active in my life). Teaching is always a
gift to me. I can feel a fresh breeze moving through my life. Right now I am
in the midst of teaching two classes, “Lessons In Truth” and the “4T
Prosperity Class {which is closed at the moment to new students}”, and
I literally feel reborn. This rebirth is expressing as a heightened awareness
of God’s presence in my life.
As a busy person yourself, I know that you can identify with
me when I pause and realize God’s presence in my life
as order and time. “I am rich in time.” “I
have all the time I need to easily do what is mine to do.” When
I remember, time seems to stretch, and things fall into place.
If I have to let go of something, it was not mine to do. This
takes much of the pressure out of a busy life.
As I pause and realize God’s presence in my life as
love, I look around and feel a fountain of gratitude flow through
me. On February 1st, I turned sixty-two years old, and I am
rich in family, friends, students and teachers. I am surrounded
by love. God is so good.
I love music, and in our church we have been richly blessed
by all kinds of music. David and Anne Ezell, Anita Houser,
Ted Fortune, Delores Pluto, Ginny Reed, and a host of other
singers and musicians have blessed us regularly. Every Sunday
is a new treat. And as a special gift to myself for my birthday,
I am going on a 7-day cruise with music as its theme. God’s
presence overflows in every area of my life.
“As I grow in my awareness of God, I harvest a rich
supply of blessings in my life”. In all our lives there
are peaks and valleys. I recently went through a health challenge,
and in that process I’m developing a keener sense of
gratitude for the wonderful creative, orderly vessel that is
my body. I’m learning to ask my body what it needs to
express the wholeness that is it’s true nature. The point
is that we grow in our awareness of God, we see start to see
God in everything. And in the seeing, we harvest a rich supply
of blessings in our lives. My hope for you (faith-filled expectation
of good) is that you grow daily in an awareness of God’s
presence in your life. Blessings.
